College of Agriculture, UASB GKVK, Bengaluru, started in the year 1946 with four years of B.Sc. (Agriculture) has its roots in the then existing Agricultural School, established in 1913 at Hebbal. In the initial years, the management of the College was entrusted to the State Department of Agriculture and affiliated with the Mysore University. The College then moved into its own building in Hebbal in 1958 and was later shifted to the present location at GKVK in 1985. The University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore (UASB) was formed in 1964 and consequently, the Agriculture College became a constituent part of the new University. Undergraduate degree in agriculture is of four years duration, and over 20,000 candidates obtained B.Sc. (Agriculture) from this College since its inception.
The college is located in the northern part of Bangalore, on the Bangalore-Hyderabad highway at about 14 km. distance from Vidhana Soudha and Railway station
